Join RIMTA and Michael Steele as he takes a deep dive into implementing the Five Practices for Orchestrating Productive Mathematical Discussions framework in K-12 classrooms.  He will examine common impediments to successful discourse and offer practical, actionable strategies to engage all learners in the deep study of grade-level mathematics content. 

This four-part series, exclusive to RIMTA, will be held on the following dates:

Thursday, October 6, from 7:00-8:15 pm

Thursday, December 8, from 7:00-8:15 pm

Thursday, January 26, from 7:00-8:15 pm

Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm (RIMTA Spring Conference attendees will be able to attend this session live, but it will also be streamed to series registrants)

Cost for all four sessions:

  • $15 for RIMTA Premium Members
  • $40 for RIMTA Basic Members and nonmembers (you may apply the fee to a one-year Premium RIMTA membership)
  • Payment must be made at time of registration.
